Philosophy
Anne Schwenkenbecher is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Academic Chair of Philosophy at the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences of Murdoch University.
Her research aims to drive theory development by addressing questions of practical relevance. It ranges from conceptualizing collective agency and responsibility to group-based form of knowledge and ignorance, venturing into philosophy of public policy, applied epistemology and environmental ethics, also ethics of political violence.
Anne Schwenkenbecher is a Visiting Fellow at CAS LMU from April to May 2026 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Monika Betzler (LMU).
